I am a graduate of Information Technology and I am looking to further my studies in the United States. I had wanted to go for Project Management or Telecommunications Management. Which of the courses would you suggest has a brighter career opportunity? And as a foreign student to the US, I would like to know of some organizations that offer student aid or loans.
I look forward to your reply.
Thank you,
Debbie

In terms of graduate degree programs, much depends on what you’ve decided that you want to do afterwards. In effect, if you’re going to invest thousands of dollars on a degree, you want to make sure that you get a “good return on your investment.”
The best way to determine that is by speaking with people who are doing the kind of work that you’d like to do and ask their opinion about what graduate work would be most useful. Have you searched for contacts through YSN? I’d also suggest LinkedIn.com.
A degree in “Telecommunications Management” is very industry-specific and I’m not certain if there are programs with that exact kind of focus as compared to, for example, a masters in technology management. There could, however, be what are called “niche” programs in tech management which focus on that industry. I’ve never heard of a master’s degree in project management. Take a look at the information about graduate school at http://www.ocs.fas.harvard.edu/students/grad-school.htm. It asks some very good questions.
As for looking for management programs and funding resources, I’d try http://www.ocs.fas.harvard.edu/students/careers/consulting/graduate.htm or http://www.gradschools.com/
