Pre-selecting all the sessions I wanted to attend in advance helped me keep a clear head while I was there. I saw so many people reviewing the session descriptions/options in the giant conference handbook in-between sessions. (They looked stressed). Instead I had plenty of time to grab water and use the bathroom. And instead of staying in and watching tv (which seemed SO mandatory at the time) I took quick naps in the afternoons which allowed me to attend the networking mixers in the evening! Jen, I’m SO glad I read this before attending PubCon in Vegas!

Just got back from an amazing conference this weekend were I definitely applied steps 1-11. It truly was a mental workout meeting 200 new people over three days and exhausting non the less.
